 Here is my entry for the 512b compo 2004, the compo is to see who can fit
 the most parts or the best part of a OS, into the boot sector of a floppy
 disk (512bytes).
 My entry is a Pmode CDplayer,that starts in realmode, sets vesa, sets up
 gdt etc,
  moves on to pmode, draws the pod image in (640x480 32bpp),sets its own
 atapi driver etc.
 To fit it all in i have had to compromize, a bit so it may not work on your pc.
 First it needs vesa2 (note: to save space no error checking is done), also if 
 you do have vesa2 it still may not work, as some card's need 24bpp and some need
 32bpp,if you do have the 24bpp (eg: most compaq etc) you will just see a blank 
 screen, you should still be able to play a cd, but will not be able to see the pod
 image :-(, if i had more space i would of check if its 24 or 32 and jump to the write
 put pixal proc etc.

 Also i have had to guess the cd/dvd drive address, so if it's wrong the cd will not play.
 Any way if you have the right pc, the keys are:

 UpArrow + Enter key = Play (it should say "Play" on the pod screen)
 DownArrow + Enter key = Stop (it should say "Stop" on the pod screen)
